The Command Palette
Press ⌘K anywhere to drive WeatherWRX from the keyboard
What is the command palette?
A search box for the whole application. Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux) from any screen, start typing, and press ↵. No menus, no hunting for the right panel.
It is built for people who live in WeatherWRX all day — but it is worth learning even if you only use it to jump between locations.
Available on plans that include the WeatherWRX app. Agent MCP, the machine-access plan, does not include it.
Jump anywhere
Start typing a location name and the palette offers that location along with its forecast, alerts, settings, and 3D trends.

Do things without leaving the keyboard
Copy a calendar link, switch the screen mode, refresh your forecasts, or resume a recent Ask WeatherWRX conversation.

Change things, with a confirmation
Changes never happen on a single keystroke. The palette shows exactly what will change and waits for you to confirm.

Typing in plain language
The palette understands a handful of phrasings, so you can say what you want instead of hunting for it. This is straightforward pattern matching, not AI — it costs nothing, answers instantly, and works whether or not you have connected an AI provider.

Changing things safely
- Nothing changes on a single keystroke. Any command that alters your data expands into a confirmation first, naming exactly what it will do.
- Adding a location shows you what it found. Type an address and the palette looks it up, shows the place it resolved to, and only then offers to add it. If it looks like somewhere you already track, it says so and asks again.
- Deleting hands off to the app. Removing a location opens the dashboard's own delete confirmation, including its calendar warning.
- It cannot touch billing. The palette can take you to your billing settings; it cannot change a plan or a payment method for you.

Asking a question instead
If what you typed is a question rather than a command, the last row in the palette hands it to Ask WeatherWRX. That needs an AI provider connected; everything else on this page does not.
